When you’re planning to hold a corporate conference, you should compile a “to-do” list of things you’ll need to ensure your event is a success. High on that list is choosing the appropriate venue. You’ll want to pick a spacious spot that will accommodate all the needs of your conference, including the exhibit hall, meeting rooms and banquet halls. You’ll also want to make sure your conference attendees will be able to hear and see any materials presented during the event, that they will be well-fed, have adequate parking, and that those with disabilities will be able to fully enjoy the conference.
Fortunately, there is one location that makes your decision an easy one: the Glendale Civic Center. The Glendale Civic Center checks all the boxes on any “to-do” list. It is positioned to provide the perfect mix of business and pleasure, offering the flexibility to hold both indoor and outdoor meetings, social gatherings, and networking opportunities. We will provide a customized floorplan based on your vision, and our ground-level facility provides easy access for exhibitor move-in. Our Crowne Ballroom, within the Main Building, offers almost 13,000 square feet of exhibit space, designed to hold booth and table-top exhibit tradeshows. It can be divided into six rooms, making it the ideal venue for any kind of occasion or meeting. The Glendale Civic Center is laid out for your convenience; our Annex Building is mere steps away from the Main Building, offering space for additional workshops and seminars.
To make sure everyone is included, the Glendale Civic Center features reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi, with multiple access points to ensure your guests remain connected. In addition to our state-of-the-art technology, in-house audio-visual crew, and enhancement lighting, the Glendale Civic Center makes it easy to hear what’s taking place; we’ve installed an FM System in the Crowne Ballroom, to enhance the quality of sound for those that are hard-of-hearing or hearing-impaired. This technology incorporates hidden wireless antennas in the ceiling that transmit signals to small handheld receivers, so the sound in the room goes directly into compatible hearing aids. The result is the elimination of background noise, creating clear communication with speakers, musicians, and presentations. We utilize state-of-the-art Lutron lighting and multi-colored LED lighting; front- and rear-screen projection in both small- and large-screen formats; and black velvet backdrop drapery (25 feet high by 100 feet long.)
By design, the Glendale Civic Center was designed and constructed to conform with the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act; access in and out of the facility, restrooms, parking, and ramps are in accordance with ADA regulations. We are fully accessible for individuals with disabilities, and there are no steps or stairs. Persons needing assistance for any event at the Glendale Civic Center should notify the Event Concierge on duty – we will make every effort to make “reasonable accommodations” for those requesting special services.
The Glendale Civic Center contracts exclusively with our in-house caterer, Arizona Catering, for all food and beverage services. We are committed to providing exceptional-quality food and beverage, and are dedicated to supplying individual attention to create a unique culinary experience that caters to the needs of our diverse clientele. Our event & culinary staff will be happy to create specialized menus to meet the individual needs of your conference attendees, including Vegetarian, Vegan, Kosher, and Gluten-Free.
Parking won’t be an issue when you choose the Glendale Civic Center. We offer a dedicated parking lot on the east side of our building, complemented by a large parking garage that is adjacent to our facility that can accommodate 600 vehicles.
